Grand Mansion

Ten6Teen · Hyde Park, Kansas City

Ten6Teen Mansion, in our words

The Ten6Teen Mansion was built in 1910, at the height of expansion and opulence in Kansas City’s Hyde Park. Seft and William bought it in 2010 and spent years restoring it. It is now about 4,500 square feet with six bedrooms and five and a half baths: a bedroom, a full bath, the living room, kitchen and dining rooms and a half bath on the first floor, four guest bedrooms and three baths on the second, and a guest suite with its own bath on the third. The common rooms are generous, the guest rooms are individually decorated, and outside there are gardens and a 1,000 square foot patio with a fire pit. The Nelson-Atkins, Country Club Plaza and Crown Center are minutes away, and the Troost MAX is a block from the door.

From your host

A note from William

We set this home up ourselves, and we host it ourselves with a local team. If something comes up during your stay you will reach us, not a call centre. Ask me where to eat, what to see and how to get around; and if your plans change, we have other homes nearby and can often move you without interrupting your trip.
